When Should I Begin? Applicants are encouraged to begin the investigation process during the fall prior to the desired entry year. An Open House is held each year.  Please contact the school for dates.  Contracts to new students are offered in the spring. Parents are encouraged to tour in the fall prior to the desired entry year, however, tours are offered year round.  Student visits are conducted in the spring.

What Do I Do First?

  1. Contact the Director of Admissions for an appointment and tour of the school.
  2. Complete the application form and submit it to the school with a $50.00 application fee.

Receipt of your application will be acknowledged by the school, and you will be sent the appropriate forms necessary to complete the admissions process, based on your child’s grade level. At this point you will:

  1. Request two recommendation forms to be completed by a teacher, counselor, or other adult who has worked with the student. At least one of these letters must be from a current teacher.
  2. Complete and sign the Request for Student Records and send it to the student’s present school (Grades 1-12 only). That school should then return a transcript including grades and standardized test results to our Admissions Office.
  3. Arrange with the Director of Admissions for your child to visit the classroom. During the time testing may be done or a writing sample completed, if appropriate. Otherwise, a specific test date will be scheduled.

An applicant’s file will be completed and ready for review when all of the steps at left are accomplished. Students whose application files are complete by the middle of March will be notified of the Admission Committee’s decision by early April.

There is no deadline for submitting an application. However, evaluation after mid-March will be for waiting list status if all class positions have been filled.
