GRADE FIELD TRIP INFO.- 2008-09 (revised
11/13/08) First
Semester- November
20- King Tut exhibit at Civic Center-10:00- Students will go by bus to see the traveling King Tut exhibit at the
Civic Center in Marietta. (Exhibit fees are paid by the school.) They will
need to be in uniform and to have @ $6-10 dollars for a fast food lunch. They
will be back at school by 2:00 for the rest of their school day schedule. December 3- A Christmas Carol- Shakespeare Theater- Atlanta. (Show fees are
paid by school.)We will ride a school bus up to Atlanta and back. Students
will need to pack their own sack lunch. This will be eaten in the theater
during intermission. Students need to be in their regular school uniforms
dressed according to the weather. Students do not need any monies for this
field trip. Departure- 8:45 am ---------------Return- @ -------Second Semester------------ March- 24-27-
Interim- Kanuga Conference Center- Hendersonville, NC- Trip packages will be handed out before the
trip week by Gail Jones. May - Renaissance
Festival (date tba) – Palmetto, Ga.- fees
