The Kindergarten Times

Month of:  December

Teachers:  Miss Donna and Miss Julie

Open Court:

Our new unit is on the wind!  We will be talking about what the wind feels like, what the wind can do to objects in nature and how wind can affect the weather.  We will talk about antonyms that deal with positions (up, down, over, under, etc) and words that describe our senses and words that describe actions.

Math:

We are working on our chapter about numbers to 31.  We will be talking about how to group objects into groups of 10 with ones left over sometimes.  This leads to place value.  We will also discuss estimating.  Our next chapter will focus on tables, graphs and fractions!
