My Country, ‘Tis of Thee

My country, ‘tis of thee,

Sweet land of liberty,

Of thee I sing;

Land where my fathers died,

Land of the pilgrims’ pride,

From every mountainside

Let freedom ring!

Our fathers’ God, to thee,

Author of liberty,

To thee we sing;

Long may our land be bright

With freedom’s holy light;

Protect us by Thy might,

Great God, our King.

-Samuel F. Smith

The Star Spangled Banner (National Anthem)

O, say!  Can you see,

By the dawn’s early light,

What so proudly we hailed

At the twilight’s last gleaming,

Whose broad stripes and bright stars,

Through the perilous fight,

O’er the ramparts we watched

Were so gallantly streaming?

And the rockets’ red glare,

The bombs bursting in air,

Gave proof through the night

That our flag was still there.

O, say, does that Star-Spangled Banner yet wave

O’er the land of the free

And the home of the brave?

-Francis Scott Key

The Heritage School

Alma Mater (The Heritage School Song)

O Heritage, to thee

We raise our voices true.

O Heritage, to thee

Our reverence is due.

Honor, love, and loyalty

We all express to thee.

Prod of thee, O Heritage,

We will forever be.
