a child enters the 5th Grade, textbooks must be acquired through
retail outlets,
private party transactions or the Parents' Club Used Textbook Sale.

How
it works:
To
have your students' books included in the sale, your children MUST
TURN THIER BOOKS INTO THEIR TEACHER on the day of thier
last test or exam.
TEACHERS will evaluate the general condition of the
books. We have been asked NOT TO ACCEPT book unless they have been
evaluated by a teacher.
Books wil be priced based on the Varsity Books price
list.
There will be three ratings,
Good = 60% of new price
Fair= 40% of new price
Unacceptable
Parents' Club will retain 10% of the price of each book sold.
Unsold books should be picked up form the library
(media center) at the end of the sale. Unclaimed books will be donated
to the Parents'
Club. If you cannot pick up your books and do not wish to donate
them, contact Ruth Hill (770) 486-9606 or Jo Bosecker (770) 631-4855
before the end of the sale.

Why was this date picked for the sale?
It is the first day after scheduled exams & tests have been completed.
What if I can't be at the sale due to work or other commitments?
Send
a check with another Heritage parent, or a relative to purchase
your books DURING the sale.
How do I pay for the used textbooks?
Cash or checks only.
