How to Apply
When Should I Begin? Applicants are encouraged to begin the investigation process during the fall prior to the desired entry year. Several Open House sessions are held each year, and a personal admissions tour and appointment is encouraged. Please contact the school for Open House dates and/or to schedule a personal tour. Contracts for new students are offered in early April. Parents are encouraged to apply in the winter months, however, applications are accepted year round. Student visits are conducted in the spring.
The admssions process at The Heritage School is designed to be selective as to character and academic promise. Both attributes are essential for a rewarding experience at the school. Recognizing that no single school is right for every student, The Heritage School seeks through its admissions process to make the best possible match of student and school. The school welcomes students of average to above-average aptitude, whose goals in life include a college education, and who have a reasonable chance of having a successful educational experience at our school, regardless of race, sex, color, religion or ethnic origin.
To this end, members of the admissions committee carefully review all submitted materials. Prospective students enrolling in rising grades 6 through 12 must perform on or above current grade level on a nationally recognized test instrument.
