The Heritage Intramurals basketball program is in its twentieth year. Teams are made up of 4th - 6th grade co-ed students and are coached by varsity basketball players. Intramurals provide not only a grooming opportunity for future athletes - the vast majority go on to play interscholastic sports - but also a leadership opportunity for the varsity student-coaches.

The program begins with a one-week mini camp. Coaches lead athletes through drills, stations and scrimmages, getting them in shape and scouting them for the draft. The draft is exciting; everybody gets a spot on a team. Games are played on Saturday mornings, but the culminating championship match is played during school hours and enjoyed by the entire student body. Everyone gets in the spirit for Intramurals!
