The first game of the Lady Hawks season did not exactly go as planned. Although the players fought hard and never gave up they just could not capatilize on the easy bucket opportunities. However, this is a tremendously talented team with players who are eager to learn. First game nerves are out of the way now; they can focus hard on execution on both ends of the floor and expect a winning season.
C. Parker was the leading scorer of the night. She played hard and came up with some big buckets for the team. She is a well-rounded athlete who can and will do whatever is asked of her. A. Windom had a stellar first game as well, working hard on both ends of the floor and being "hungry for the basketball." |
