The varsity girls beat Colonial Hills 45-22. E. Powell scored 18 points. The highlight was E. Crosby’s hitting for four points! The girls are now 6-3 going into the holiday.
The boys trailed at halftime, but outscored Colonial Hills 13-2 in the second quarter. They tied the game in the fourth, but fell behind with 18 seconds to go. Sophomore K. Kimsey scored 24 points, and the Hawks had a good defensive effort, but lost 48-50. |

The girls basketball team outscored Griffin Christian by a 20-point margin in between the second and third periods on the road in a 53-37 victory. Newcomer I. Dennis chimed in with 14 points for the Lady Hawks to provide a 1-2 punch with leading scorer E. Powell, as Heritage's girls improved to 9-5 overall and 5-4 in 4-AA play. Powell had a team-high 21 points in the victory.
The Heritage boys outscored the Crusaders in the third quarter, but came away with a 52-72 loss. K. Kimsey led Heritage with 16 points and B. York had nine.

The Hawks had a convincing 56-41 win over the Wildcats. The Lady Hawks, after taking an 18-point halftime lead, watched Flint River hit 13 of its 14 free throws for a 50-46 comeback victory, despite getting 17 points from E. Powell. |

Cranford chimed in with an impressive secondary effort. Cranford scored 17 points and added more than 10 rebounds. Meanwhile, the Lady Hawks put together a valiant effort, but lost. E. Powell led the Lady Hawks with 14 points and K. Kaufmann added 12. |
