The Hawks' hard work during their bye week paid off. Heritage ran 383 yards against Young Americans in a 34-12 victory, bringing our record to 2-2. Junior J. Veal ran for 128 yards and a touchdown. C. Rich had a team-high seven tackles and an interception to go with his 113 yards rushing and two scores.
K. Kimsey rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns. The Hawks' first-team offense finished without a turnover, and our defense held Young Americans to two field goals before reserves entered in the fourth quarter. |
