Martin, a returning Freshman, has really improved since last season and was our standout player, having her best match to date. S. Engel, outside hitter, did a great job on defense. |

Jeffreys, libero M. Renaud and outside hitter E. Haugen. The Hawks Middle School and Junior Varsity teams travel to Arlington Christian tomorrow. |

The Heritage Middle School team continued its winning streak with a victory over Arlington Christian in three sets; 23-25, 25-9, 25-15. The Hawks were lead by returning 7th graders, M. Renaud, E. Haugen and M. Jeffreys. Starting setter H. Hunt had 26 aces in the last two sets.
The Hawks Junior Varsity team struggled against Arlington and lost in 4 sets; 17-25, 17-25, 25-10, 13-25. Captains A. Duke and E. Taylor were strong at the net with help from setter L. Smith, but the team struggled on serving and serve receive against Arlington's tough servers. |

The Heritage Hawks Middle School Volleyball Team continued its winning streak with a win over Skipstone Academy.
The Junior Varsity Team came out on top as well, beating Skipstone Academy 25-11, 25-12. A. Duke, I. Gutierrez and N. Powell lead the team in serving with 30 combined points. Both Duke and middle hitter E. Taylor did a fantastic job on defense. The team as a whole looked really strong. |

The Heritage Middle School Volleyball Team defended their 3-0 winning streak and extended it to 4-0 defeating Trinity Christian School 25-21, 25-21. A. Browning had her best match to date and really helped out the Hawks in passing and defense. Z. Powell lead the team in hitting and M. Renaud did an outstanding job defensively as the team's libero.
The Hawk's Junior Varsity Team played a tough match and nearly pulled out a win taking their match against Trinity Christian to 3 sets, but fell short in the end; 26-28, 25-20, 12-15. M. Crosby, I. Gutierrez and C. Stechman all stepped up to the plate to play strong defensive games. The Hawks struggled with their serving, and in the end, that was the difference in the match. |

The Middle School Volleball team pulled out a tough win against Oak Mountain Academy. Oak Mountain was a good team and the players worked hard to win their first set 26-24. This was definitely a team effort as the Hawks struggled in the 2nd set, losing 22-25 and came back to win the tie-breaking set 15-12. |

The MS team is doing great, and is undefeated to date, having beaten Bethlehem Christian 25-10, 25-5. I. Harris and A. Browning were among the strongest on the team in serving.
The JV had an unfortunate loss against Bethlehem Christian. Heritage started strong, winning the first two sets 25-20, 25-22. N. Bunch did a great job passing for the Hawks, and E. Taylor and A. Duke lead the team in hitting. But Bethlehem was very strong defensively, and in the end, they came back to beat Heritage in 3 straight sets 21-25, 18-25, 7-15. By our standards of playing 2 out of 3, we beat them in two, but this team competes at the Varsity level, so we had to play 3 out of 5. |

The Heritage Hawks MS Volleyball Team defeated Trinity Christian 25-21, 25-12 to remain undefeated at 8-0. M. Duke and C. Heindel did a great job serving for the Hawks while Z. Powell lead the Hawks in hitting.
The JV team played a tough match against Trinity. They played much stronger and more aggressively than they have in past weeks showing a great deal of improvement. Trinity looked very strong, and the teams were very evenly matched. After a well fought series, Heritage lost the match 24-26, 25-17, 10-15.

The Heritage MS Volleyball Team continued their winning streak, beating Griffin Christian 25-23, 14-25, 25-10. Setter H. Hunt played a great game defensively and offensively, setting key hitters, attacking the Griffin defens,e and serving 24 points for the Hawks. M. Duke and C. Heindel hit very well and played great defensively. Middle School is now 9-0.
The Hawks JV Volleyball Team had a slow start against Griffin Christian, but fought back and won 9-25, 25-15, 25-20. N. Bunch played a fantastic match leading the team in blocking and playing a very strong overall game. A. Duke and C. Stechman lead the team in serving with a combined 33 points. Setter L. Smith was strong on defense, picking up just about anything Griffin had to throw at her. The JV team is now 4-4. |

The Heritage MS Volleyball Team extended their winning streak, beating Harvester Christian 25-14, 25-17. H. Monk lead the Hawks with a strong serving performance and great game at the net. C. Heindel and Z. Powell lead the team in serve receive. The MS Team is now 10-0.
The Hawks JV Team added another match to their win column defeating Harvester Christian in a very tight match 28-26, 27-25. C. Stechmann and I. Gutierrez helped the Hawks defensively against Harvester's strong outside hitters. N. Powell did a great job serving and on defense. |

Oak Mountain played a very agressive game, both offensively and defensively, but the Hawks managed to keep their winning streak alive. That effort was led in part by starting setter H. Hunt and right side player C. Heindel. |

The Heritage Hawks MS Volleyball Team defeated Heirway Christian Academy 25-16, 25-11. The Hawks played very aggressively and attacked the ball hard from the net. Starting middle hitters H. Monk and M. Jeffries led the team in kills. M. Duke and Z. Powell were great defensively, digging everything Heirway had to throw at them. The MS Team is now 12-0.
The Hawks JV Volleyball Team extended their 3 match winning streak and are now 6-4 beating Heirway Christian 25-17, 20-25, 15-6. Middle hitters E. Taylor and A. Duke dominated at the net and led the team in kills. N. Powell and M. Crosby played heads up defense.
Starting setters L. Smith and H. Hunt kept both teams on track as a strong court leaders. Both the MS and JV teams have been working hard at practice on their offensive game and being stronger at the net.
Head Coach Mary Louise Hunt said tonight both teams reached their goals and played their best matches to date. |

The Heritage Middle School Volleyball Team played Odyssey Charter School in back to back matches. M. Duke, M. Jeffreys and H. Hunt led the team with tough serves and a number of aces. Z. Powell and M. Renaud helped the Hawks with fantastic defensive games and Powell's best hitting game of the season to help defeat Odyssey 25-11, 25-18 in the first match.
I. Harris and E. Haugen helped the Hawks in passing and defense in a very close second match. In the end, serving from I. Harris, A. Browning and S. Dreyer helped take the Hawks to their second victory of the night, beating Odyssey 27-25, 25-23. The Hawks MS Team is now 14-0. |

The Hawks JV Team came away with a win as well, beating Skip Stone Academy 25-13, 25-18. E. Taylor played an aggressive match at the net and C. Stechman led the team in aces. The JV team is now 7-4. |

The MS Volleyball Team won their final regular season match vs. Bethlehem Christian 25-23, 25-18. S. Dreyer helped lead the Hawks to victory with 3 kills and H. Monk had 3 aces. The MS team finishes their regular season undefeated at 16-0.
The JV team played a great match and took Bethlehem Christian to 5 sets, losing in the 5th set by only 2 points. K. Griffin had 2 aces for the Hawks and A. Duke and N. Bunch lead the team in kills. The JV team finished their season with a winning record of 7-5.

MS MAC Tournament |

The Heritage MS Volleyball Team completed their season in the MAC Tournament. The Hawks won their first match, defeating Community Christian 25-11, 25-22 to make it to the finals against Loganville Christian. Loganville was the toughest team the Hawks have seen all season, which made for a great match. After a hard fought battle, the Hawks fell a little short, losing in the finals to Loganville in a very close match, 24-26, 22-25.
The MS Volleyball Team had a great season, finishing 17-1! Congratulations to Coach Hunt and all of the players for a job very well done!
